British Bingo Operators Mecca and Gala Held Another Charity Event
The football teams of the employees of operators Mecca Bingo and Gala Bingo in South East England helped to collect more than 24 000 pounds in a charity fundraiser. Members of a football team of 13 Bingo clubs in the southeast went to the field to help raise funds for the Carers Trust charity to help support 7 million carers in Britain.
As a charity partner since February 2014, Mecca Bingo online has recently celebrated its £ 1.5 million fundraising line through various charitable initiatives and fund-raising events. And Gala Bingo polished its football boots during this meeting to raise money for its charity partner Variety, which provides practical tangible help for children and families who are alone with a serious illness, disability or extreme poverty.
Spectators were delighted with the teams, and thanks to additional donations more than 24,000 pounds were collected in general for the charities chosen by the operators. Discussing current and planned charity events in 2017, Mark Brenton, the regional manager of Mecca slots in the southeast, said: “We are delighted with the amount we have collected for the Carers Trust, we appreciate the work done by carers and we are happy to participate in as many different charitable events as possible. The collected money will help the Carers Trust to support thousands of carers through a grant fund to provide them the equipment and skills necessary to carry out their work while at the same time providing care for their own health and well-being.

We also had one team member recently take on the Pennine Way challenge and another group take on the UK’s first four person zipline.”
Bradley Wise, the general manager of Gala Chatham and one of the organizers of the event, added: “Gala Bingo is proud to be associated with a children-oriented charity organization called Variety. Our clients and employees always support their local community, and we are glad that we have collected such a fantastic amount of money that will be spent on a worthy cause. We hope to achieve our goal and increase fees to 1 million pounds by the end of 2018.
