PokerStars launches an upgraded version of the free Jackpot Poker on Steam
The leading poker operator on the Internet PokerStars is trying to establish itself in the field of social casinos through launching the Jackpot Poker on the ultra-popular Steam gaming platform.
After the release on March 20th, PokerStars made updates to Jackpot Poker, a free poker game that in its format resembles a tournament with the elements of the Spin & Go lottery, available in the main client application for real money play. The first responses to the game were contradictory, while many complained of technical problems. The representative of PokerStars on Steam officially notified the players that the problems were identified and eliminated.
“This post was published to inform everyone who encountered game crashes and other bugs that we identified and eliminated the problem,” the company wrote on the Steam portal.
Jackpot Poker offers two games – Hold’em and Omaha, translated into 12 languages. The player can also choose between single-player and multi-user modes. Users can play for free and try to build up a bankroll or buy chips, as well as in other social games.

The free platform Jackpot Poker is perfect for Steam. This was reported by representatives of the poker room PokerStars, who decided to upgrade the service of digital distribution of games. Steam is a major distribution service for games, which could be estimated by over 125 million of gambling users. Due to this application, new games became available to the players, as well as chats with friends, thanks to which it is very easy to interact and discuss with friends the screenshots or videos.
Steam will be a good help to PokerStars in their desire to compete in the social games market because the gaming platform has more than 10 million active users.
