NetEnt stops providing their services within Canada
It has become known that one of the leaders of online gambling software industry, the company NetEnt will not supply its product offering to three Canadian online casino brands – Rizk Casino, Betspin Casino, and Guts Casino.
Gaming Innovation Group based in Malta runs these three gaming institutions. The visitors of the casinos will have a possibility to gamble any other games from a wide range of manufacturers. However, NetEnt games and bonus will not be offered any longer.
Canadian online gambling laws seem to be a bit fuzzy. Provincial gaming organisations provide iGaming options officially. As to international providers, they are allowed to operate here only under the condition that their offices are not located here.
Because of such legal fuzziness, it is no doubt that some of the iGaming providers stop their operations at the local market. To put it differently, NetEnt has not been the only such company to leave Canada. William Hill, one of the UK giants in the sphere of gambling entertainments, decided to pull out from the British Columbia province in May.

William Hill is far from being the only gambling institution that undertook such an action. Ladbrokes also quit the Canadian gambling industry without explaining the reasons two years ago. Paddy Power did the same in 2011 and Betfair closed the access to Canadian residents late in 2015.
Canada is not the only country where NetEnt offered its innovative gaming content. The Swedish company has recently started cooperating with some of New Jersey’s largest casinos. This state together with Delaware and Nevada are the only three which offer Internet gambling in the country. NetEnt has just scooped three awards at the eGaming Review Awards that took place at the Pavilion at the Tower of London. It was awarded in the RNG Casino Supplier, Innovation in Mobile, and Innovation in Slot Provision categories.
