Lucky Hearts Poker Open 2017 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel

The Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla will host the Lucky Hearts Open Poker Open (LHPO) this year again. The event is scheduled on January 12-25, 2017. This is going to be the fifth event in the series of 10 on Seminole Hard Rock Poker (SHRP) schedule of 2016-2017. LHPO this year is the 16-th tournament and it will include two headliners. The first is the series-opening Ultimate Re-Entry with a $500K guarantee event. The second is the live streamed $1 mln guaranteed Main Event. These tournaments are held in cooperation with WPTDeepStacks.

The Ultimate Re-Entry with an incredible $360 buy-in and $500K is an outstanding event that occupied its position at the LHPO after a record turnover of more than 4000 entries last January. The best was Thai Ha from Pennsylvania, who got more than $230K from his buy-in. The tournament is going to offer 8 starting flights since 12th of January. On January 19th, the $1 mln guaranteed Main Event will take place. It will include a $1,100 buy-in and 3 starting fights. Last year there were 1,686 entries and this figure made it the biggest Main Event in the history of WPTDeepStacks. The Canadian Salomon Ponte has overcome the super-sized field and won $344,420. In 2017, the Main Event is going to be live streamed with commentaries.

This season Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood hosts four SHRP and the LHPO is the second one. The Championships series are pointed eligible in the SHRP Player of the Year (POY).
