London Hippodrome Casino Intends To Dilate

The Hippodrome Casino that is situated in Leicester Square, London, is going to dilate after buying of a neighbouring arcade.

Praesepe sold Crystal Rooms Adult Gaming Centre to the Hippodrome Casino for an unknown sum of money due to the change of business strategy of its ex-owners. The owners have 71 adult gaming institutions in Greater London, but now have been trying to increase its influence on the coastal areas. The company concentrates its attention on these parts now.

As Praesepe CEO Nick Harding stated, “We believe the energy and overall resource required to remain at the top of the game in central London can be deployed more effectively throughout what is a growing business employing some 1,600 staff nationally.”

The Hippodrome Casino, which is located in the center of London’s recreational area, has turned into one of the major UK casinos and earned the popularity of the busiest live entertainment facility. Headed by CEO Simon Thomas, the casino proceeds to prosper and the acquisition of the Crystal Rooms Adult Gaming Centre will help the Hippodrome to reach new heights.

According to the words of Simon Thomas, this purchase will open new opportunities for the Hippodrome business. They will be able not only to dilate the current gaming content but also to provide an important platform at street level to demonstrate the fascinating range of gaming facilities in the building. They have ambitious projects for the space bought.

Thomas did not lay his cards on the table as to their projects; there is a supposition that the new premises will be turned into new poker rooms. The Hippodrome is the home of PokerStars LIVE and the United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) takes place here too. In 2013, it also hosted the European Poker Tour (EPT) London festival.

Although the existing poker rooms are beautiful, but they lack space and capacity that many of the venues have, where UKIRT and EPT took place. Dilating its poker space is an obvious necessity for improving the cooperation with PokerStars and this will also help to attract the most significant poker year festivals.
