Hollywood Poker Open Season 4 kicks off on Thursday, June 23
Hollywood Poker Open $2,500 Championship Event at M Resort Spa Casino starts already on Thursday, June 23rd at 11 am with the two first starting fights. The prize pool of the event is $500 thousand. The last day of the Championship is Sunday, June 26th.
The tournament will present two starting fights and a big field with about 700 players over the first three editions. Generally, the first prize is about $340 thousand. A rather juicy event, isn’t it?
This is surely a can’t-miss event of this summer with satellite qualifiers coming from Hollywood Casino venues all over the USA. This is going to be the final part of the HPO’s Season 4.
Every player will start with 25 thousand in tournament chips and the 1st level will be 50/100, providing the competitors with 250 big blinds for a start.
The duration of the levels is 60 minutes with the plan to have 11 levels on Day 1, 11 levels on Day 2 and then down to a winner on Day 3.
The registration will be open till the beginning of the second day with unlimited reentries.
The first three seasons of HPO revealed some great names. Ana Marquez scoring $320,000 is the first season winner from Spain. Britain’s Simon Deadman scored the $351,097 prize in Season 2. US’ Kevin Stammen won $347,045 in Season 3.

If you can’t afford spending $2,500, try your luck at one of the $235 satellites. They are going to run 3 $235 satellites on Thursday, June 23rd at 9 am, 3 pm and 7 pm. The 9 am satellite will be a turbo.
Another two $235 satellites will take place on Friday, June 24th at 9 am and 3 pm. The 9 am satellite will be a turbo, too.
The HPO is also going to hold its $555 Seniors Championship in addition to the $2,500 Event on Saturday, June 25th. Competitors must be 50 years or older and the $555 buy-in provides you with 12 thousand in tournament chips.
The duration of the levels is 40 minutes with the possibility to register and reentry during the first 6 levels.
