A new social gaming entertainment from Sky Bet and OpenWager

Social gaming is constantly growing and it wins more and more attention every day with new upcoming offered to the public. As a result, numerous gambling operators experience the interest to monetization of it, but it’s not a quick process.

The announcement about partnership in creation of a new social gaming establishment between Sky Betting and Gaming and OpenWager appeared recently. Sky Betting and Gaming is the UK bookmaker with 4 brands within it: Sky Vegas, Sky Pokers, Sky Bet and Sky Bingo. CVC Captal Partners, a company with the funds of more than 46 billion, purchased the main stake in Sky Betting and Gaming for $800 million in December, 2014.

OpenWager specializes in developing, delivering, publishing and operating the products for casino entertainments. The company is headquarted in San Francisco and was founded in 2013, but it has offices in Hungary, in Budapest and in Romania, in Bucharest.

The new service provided is called ‘Sky Hollywood Slots‘. It will have numerous original games and the users of iOS, Android and other platforms will be able to try them.

Bruce Bale, Sky Bet’s head of social games, announced, “Social gaming gains more and more popularity among the gamers, so it’s worth trying to use this space for providing our experience received in real money gaming. The company OpenWager is well-known in the gaming industry, and it is just that partner which will help us to appeal to the gamblers from the US, Canada, Asia and Western Europe.”

The Chief Executive Officer at OpenWager John Cahill told, “We are glad to cooperate with such a company as Sky Bet.
