888Poker starts working in Italy

Until recently, two major poker companies – PokerStars and IPoker – worked on the poker market in Italy. In September 2017, Itai Pazner, CEO of 888 Holdings, said that his company plans to launch its room in the Italian reservation in the near future.

Before the beginning of this year, only the casino and the bookmaker office of 888 worked here. On January 3, the poker room 888poker.it was officially launched. A large advertising company in print and on television was dedicated to this event. Its main slogan is the phrase “Il Gioco inizia adesso! (Let the game begin!)”.

Italian players will be able to access 888poker.it website, as well as 888 Poker mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.

888 has already entered this market through its casino sites and sports betting services, which have been adapted for the Italian market.

A new launch is supported by an extensive marketing campaign and a series of welcome bonuses for new customers. The Italian players of the poker room 888 will be offered exclusive bonuses and the opportunity to win a ticket to the World Series.

888poker.it launched with a full range of its poker options, including two recreational formats: SNAP Poker and Poker BLAST with a prize pool of 300 thousand euros.

888poker.it became the second poker reservation of the holding – the first was opened in Spain.

This step can increase 888’s chances in the struggle for a share in the market of the future European poker reservation uniting four countries – France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

In addition, 888 has concluded a deal with WSOP (World Series of Poker) recently, which will provide 888poker.it customers with the opportunity to win a trip to the annual tournament in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA).
